My spare tire winch has not been holding as well any more; I tightened the tire up a week ago, but it was loose again when I worked on the truck this weekend(had to pull the bed and replace fuel sensor in tank). Also, the end is fraying by the tbar that goes against the tire/rim.

Is there a better winch/hoist than stock?
Best place to buy from?

Mine failed on my 98.5. Replaced under warranty. I stretched a ratchet strap between the frame rails for insurance and to take the load of an oversized spare.
