Shortening my 96 Club Cab
Wow, that was a beauty before you cut it up. And a real beauty after you finished it! Nice Job:cool: I'd have a shortbox if I did'nt have so many tools to haul. Hey, maybe I could have two 2nd gen Cummins's. Thanks, now you got my wife mad at me[laugh] That's one clean 96 shorty!

the truck drives a lot on the fields, NO PAVEMENT! and i didnt clean it either! so here they are: A friend has done it to 8 trucks already, and i let him do it, he had the frame and everything done, in one day (except the bed) for $300 or $350 i forgot. He cut the frame, welded it together, grinded it flat for the looks, http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/9...8339of8.th.jpg and put a steel plate over it on the inner side with 8 bolts http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/2...8360qn7.th.jpg http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/8...8348tv1.th.jpg cut the drive shaft, welded it together http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/6...8342dy9.th.jpg http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/2...8357lj5.th.jpg and put on a shorter fuel tank, (from a shorty gasser) |
