short in radio wiring

I get a nasty crackling sound coming through my speakers when I hit a very small bump.I traced the wire to both the ignition and power wire that goes into the back of the radio. These two wires are the culprit.Anybody know were these wires goes to that could be causing this?I have shook every wire up under the dash I could find, and cant find the source of the problem...thanks Robert

Try the antenna lead, if it's not tight it can cause that..

What are the wire colors? One of the powered ones goes to a speaker pre amp and if it has an intermittent disconnect it will cause popping sounds
