Running lights staying on, having to pull relay switch

Just recently the daytime running lights have been staying on after turning the switch to OFF. Sometimes I could slam the door hard enough and they would turn themselves off but now that don't work. I have to pull the relay switch under the hood to turn them off. Any ideas?

Could be the headlight switch or it could be the relay. You can swap relays with any in the fuse box and see if that does it. You can also use a volt meter to test the pins were the relay plugs in. Only one should be hot. If you have 2 it's the switch.

That is generally caused by an internal failure of the daytime running light module. Small black box on the driver side wheel well, close to the master cylinder.
