In the body shop I use to work in we used 3M adhesive and decal remover. After spraying let it set till it bubbles the glue then scrap off. We used razor blades but a plastic putty knife should work. After removing the glue just wash with soap and water.

If you use the razor blade just take your time and lay top edge down close to the truck. This will keep you from nicking the paint.
