Rear end wabble?

When I'm cruising above 40mph and I turn the wheel the rear end feels like it is swaying back and forth. Took it to alignment shop said nothing looked to be bad in the rear end. The truck is 2wd short bed. Any specific Places to look? It's got brand new tires and tried the old tires and does the Same thing. Could something in the front give the illusion thAt the problem is in the back. Could the tires need to settle a bit?
