I think you are nuts. Do you have a donor truck? Or are you going to buy these parts at the local salvage yard? Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a quad cab truck?

The 98.5 up have a completely different interior/dash than 98.5 down. I don't think it would bolt up without modification. You would also have to cut the bottom of the Quad cab & build a new floor because the frame steps up behind your cab. The body mounts would also need moved/rewelded. I would look for another truck, not worth the effort if you end up with a hacked up truck in the end.

new info

well my truck has a salvage title(no loan or resale value) and i work at a junk yard- parts are not the problem and fitament of the cab and accessories inside the cab is not the problem- upon further research the wheel base of my truck is 134" the wheel base of a quad cab short bed is 139"- my conclusion(my problem unless anyone knows different) frame would have to be stretched or shortbed would have to be shortened to allow wheel to fit in properly- neither would i want to do. thanks for the replies hope everyone had a good holiday
