putting Bush bumper on... raise front to level?

I found this big heavy Bush bumper for my dually, but I'm betting once mount is made and it put on, that the front will drop. Should I wait and see what sort of lift I need to compensate? Would I have to change the control arms? The steering on this beast is driving me insane already.

What year?

The stock front bumpers are thin garbage and mostly plastic so you are going from a coors can to a water main pipe!! A levelling kit won't take the extra weight off the springs. You can check your vin to see what springs you got on the front or see if the paper tags may still be on there. They don't match left to right either so you will see something like 046 and 048, these are factory spring rates.

Just because it is a dually doesn't mean it has the stiffest rate springs from stock....

It's a 98.5.

So going with new coils that add 2 in would mean a stiffer ride wouldn't it? That the better route to go?

It depends on spring rate and how much weight you add.

Going with new springs will help, I thought you were going with a levelling block...

Try contacting the spring manufacturer for some advice on weight and spring rate, maybe
