Oil cap/fill tube seal new #

I've had heck locally finding the Cummins seal # 3902363 that is for the oil fill cap/fill tube. I know you can get them by ordering them but wanted to find them locally. I've found out that part # has changed to 3936876. I got one today and it fits great

The truck I put the seals in is a '98 12 valve. Doesn't from '89 up through '98 use these same seals?

I know right!! Came off kinda snarky after I re read it. I try to only answer questions I know the answers to when I can't sleep...For gennie Cummins parts I hit the local KW dealer and use the CPL# off my engine tag.

LOL. I guess I shoulda listed the truck I was working on. I have my signature filled out with my truck info on it but I can't tel if it's showing up in my posts. Apparently it's not. How do I make it appear for other posters? I think the problem is the mobile version I'm using because when I use the full site it shows your signature but when I view it using the mobile version I don't see your signature

Sixslug, I couldn't see your signature line until I logged on to the site.

When I was viewing as a "guest", I couldn't see signature lines for either of you. Now that I'm logged in, I can see Sixslug's but not Honobia's.

Honobia - after you filled in your signature, did you click the "Save Signature" button? That's the only reason I can think of for why your signature line doesn't appear.

I think I figured out the problem. Since updating my signature I had never logged out of the website. I logged out and logged back in and now my signature is showing up
