No Interior Lights or Radio

Today I lost power to my dome and cargo lights as well as my radio. I checked all the fuses and they're fine. Where is a good place to start checking next? Thanks

Did you check the fuses in both the dash and underhood fuse panels?

I didn't look too closely at the ones under the hood. I thought they were all controlled from the fuse panel in the dash. Is there one in the box under the hood that would cause this?

Yep, can't remember the fuse, but it is a 40 amp.............. PDC box under the hood.

There is also a fuse in the fuse block that has a cover on it that controls the dome lights and radio. Mine went bad and I read in my service manual that its not installed until the truck hits the dealer so the battery won't get run down. It has a plastic clip over it and is a pain to get out.

Yeah that's a good point- the OP's problem sounds like it could be the IOD fuse. I forgot it was covered up by the clip, and maybe it got missed.

X2 on IOD fuse. Just recently happened to me when the glove box light shorted out.

Turned out to be the IOD fuse... Never gave it a thought to check that one. Thanks for the info!
