I can't check til the morning, but my two week old tie rod ends seems to have "loosened" up. They didn't seem to have play, but the two that go from the pitman arm to the through hole of the passenger side bar "twisted" easier than before. Before, any one of these off the vehicle could barely be moved by hand.

I don't think there is play, but do they usually loosen up like this? I guess it's just paranoia after dropping so much money on the front end, because I really want everything to be "right" and stay right!

hey, i just did mine this a.m. and even torqued down they (all 4, insides and outs) were able to be moved but not without a good grip, i will check them after a few miles to see if they loosen. i replaced with oem and noticed that the ends themselves were pretty tight out of the box and ungreased, upon installing them and filling all the grease fittings they were still tight but a little more fluid, maybe you just lubed them up after driving on them and so now they feel a little looser? my 2 pennies worth

Yes they will free up slightly after use. Still should noth have play.
