michilin verses brigestone

Time for tires I have always used the Michilen LTX MS Ld range E. NO real complaints except price an tread mileage getting about 50 k . Thinking about the Bridgestone AT Duellers 10 ply. Wondering about difference in ride traction on an off road farm use. They are quite a bit cheaper an from what I have read will last longer. What is the trade off from you who have owned both ?

You know I was just thinking on this the other day....

I just replaced some D range Dean MT's with Toyo AT's and dropped a grand for them.
Interestingly, my boss has the same Toyo's on his F 150, not 10 ply, but similar and at 30K they are pretty worn. That's not apples to apples but it got me watching my tires for wear. I got 60K out of the Dean's. They were noisier and looser than the E Range tires I just replaced them with.

You are picking from two established companies with a lot of product out there, however, Michelins have the better rep for quality. My dad runs my Michelins on his 94 for half the year on my 17" wheels that I bet I won't be seeing back on my truck for a long while!! He noted right away it rides way better than any of the other tires he has had on his..

Just my .02

I've tried a few different kinds of tires. I always end up wanting my Michelin back. I have the Bridgestone's on now. They're ok, but the do not ride as nice as the Michelins. Just my 2 cents

Travelin, the Firestone bags have been great, I had an issue with a leak but it seems to have healed itself. I run them at 80 psi when towing a 15,000 lb boat and the truck is stable and doesn't seem to mash out on the crazy Canadian road we take to Gold River.

I have pics posted in my album, you should be able to check them out.
