Looking for interchange advice on interior

I found a 2002 gas 4x4 ram 1500 for parts . The interior is in decent shape and I would like to know if the seats and what ever else would bolt into a 97 2500 Diesel . Seats? Door panels etc ? Would any of this stuff work for the 97? Thanks

Seats can be made to work. If it is a quad cab you steal the seats from, you may end up with two seat belts per side.
Front door panels as well will work.
The dash surround, pad, gauges, wiring, steering column parts, headlight switch, and HVAC controls will not crossover, or not at least easily.

Thanks for that , what about the back seats ? Could you clarify about the 2 seat belt thing ? My dads 97 doesn't have back doors and the 2002 is a 4 door . Here is a pic of the 2002

On the 1500 trucks, 3rd gen started in 2002 model year. On the 2500 and 3500 trucks, 3rd gen didn't start until 2003 model year. Like was said, everything will be different. You*might* be able to fab up some brackets and make the seats work, but things like door trim panels simply won't fit.

Yeap, I didn't see you where talking a '02 1500, which is NOT going to help.
I keep forgetting they even made a 1500.
I just pictured a 2500 '02.
Sorry

The seats can be made to fit, but the early 3rd gen seats weren't very comfortable, according to quite a few guys around here. I remember a lot of discussion on it whenever someone was dumping their 2nd gen for a 3rd...
