Led fog lights?

stupid question. got a 2001 ram 2500 and i bought aftermarket off road LED fog lights that i stuck in the new bumper i put on. question is, can i wire these lights up to the factory fog lamp wires and it be ok? or will it mess with something... anyone ever do it?

Yeah, should be no problem on a 2001. The factory fogs weren't controlled or monitored by a processor. Generally speaking, the new LEDs should draw less current than the old lamps and won't overload anything.

ya that was my fear lol my buddy has a 4th gen and put led bulbs on it, and it burnt something cause now only one head light works now.. lol
