Interior Driftwood trim color for A pillar

I've got a 1996 that I'm finally putting the A pillar mount gauges in, but the place doing it can't find a paint to match. Any suggestions or prior experience would be great.
My interior calls for Driftwood which is actually several colors of grey with brown or tan tint.
Dodge is clueless and don't supprt my "old" truck. Phooey!

I think they are looking at the wrong color code. Your int should be a solid color such as grey.

Nope. Seats are gray with the red and blue checks but dash and trim are a brownish gray or tan. Dash is two toned.

What has everyone else used?

Nope not mist gray. Again mine is a 96 not a 97. It's a brownish tint.

Dodge actually had a "Driftwood" color and they discontinued it along time ago. Most owners use the "Mist Grey" color and that you can get on Geno's Garage. The other option you have is finding a small can of Duplicolor "Light Driftwood" at Advance Auto,Autozone,CSK or other places that carry Duplicolor. The Duplicolor part number for "Light Driftwood" in a 5oz can is DSCC402.

Your other option is paint the pillars to match your vehicles exterior color which some have done and it looks nice.........Andy

Sounds like the same interior I have. I've got two receipts stapled together. This was back in '03. First color they sold me was wrong. The right color was part # 82400902, I believe. The wrong color was 82201400 which matched the dash color.

Both part #'s on my receipts have the # 01-081-008, which I think is the interior color code.

Hope this helps.

Diesel manor has a bunch of paint colors for the a-pillars. I think Driftwood is the color of the rockers on two tone trucks. Dad's 94 is gunmetal grey/driftwood with a grey interior. Kurt

Thanks all. In the same business park that did my gauges, there is a paint shop. He painted to match. Haven't learned the cost yet, but isn't much.
I think the garage that is doing my work will go that route from now on as they've had problems in the past getting Ford pods to color match too.

Yeah, if that color didn't match it would drive me nuts, but that's just me!
