Ignition Switch Issues

My Ignition switch on the steering column has gotten difficult to operate, sticky, and won't turn to the accessory position. Is there an easy fix for this?? PB Blaster?? If no easy fix would someone inform me as to what parts I need to replace and a good video to show how...I am a 70 yr old original owner of this 96 Ram 3500 CTD.
Thanks in advance for all the help over the years Old Mike

This does not really sound like the switch, more like the lock tumbler. They do get worn, and also the keys get worn- if you have another (unused or less used ) key, you can try that one- if it's better, get a copy of the better key. If not, get a lock and let a locksmith re-key it to your existing key, or get a lock set that includes the door locks.

And while you are at it- also change the ignition switch.
