Angry Johnny

I got a hydroboost unit and master cylinder off a 98 2500 in the junkyard. I'm going to adapt it to my 1st Gen. I've got pretty much everything figured out but I want to rebuild the unit before I put it on. I bought the kit from Pirate Jack but in the instructions it mentions a couple seal installers that are GM and Chrysler special tools. I have found them on ebay and other sites but for the money (over $100) for something I'm probably only going to use once seems a little steep. So I was wondering if anyone else has rebuilt their hydroboost and if they really needed these installers or did they use something else.
