How many still have the original batteries?
I have a 2001.5 and still running the original batteries. Almost 7 1/2 years and still cranking hard. Are there tell - tell signs when they die or do they just die? I have never had batteries last this long so just asking.

just had to change mine a few weeks ago. one shorted out, still have the other one and it load tests fine. so they made it six years and change. there was no warning, one day it just didn't crank as fast. :cool:

passenger battery puked out about 3 or 4000 miles ago. Drivers still going good.

Still have mine @127k, no problems but I'm going to be looking into replacing them this summer before I start the long trips again.

Replaced my originals about 5k ago at 214,000 miles. Just started cranking slower and slower.

Still runnin the originals as far as I know. Bought the truck used but think they are the originals.

I had a friend tell me you should change out your batteries every 2 years.
