HELP: parking brake cable tensioner broke
 

the adjustable cable tensioner broke and NO ONE, not even local Dodge dealers can get one.
Any one know a part number or where to get one? May just have to go to local Pull-a-part.

I would go to your local pick and pull...All those 2nd gen adjusters are the same..Thats where I got mine..

remember its probably the same part on 1500-3500 models and possibly even the Dakota.

I don't know exactly how or where yours broke but I had that happen years ago on a '73 W200 that was only a couple years old. I brazed it back together and it lasted until way past when I got rid of it about '95 or '96.

found one on flea-bay. although some one had taken it apart to get it off a truck then put it back together wrong. I was able to fix it though.
Going to get the old one welded back together and I will have a spare or sell it.

I just replaced mine a few months ago. Local Dodge dealer and not too expensive either.
