Anyone have a diagram for the heated seats in a '01 quad cab. Also, the heated mirrors? My drivers side mirror won't heat but the pass side does. The pass side seat heats fine, but the drivers side doesn't. And when you try to turn on the drivers side seat heater, the indicator light in the switch blinks for about 2 minutes then turns off. I have been thinking about buying the Dodge service books, I guess I need to. Thanks if you can help.

i have the same problem with my driver side seat heater. someone's gotta know whats required to fix it.

 

If it flashes whether you turn it on high or low, that means a short somewhere, according to the '02 FSM. If it flashes on high but not on low, that means an open somewhere. If it flashes on low but not on high, there's a sensor with a value out of range.

If I could, I'd post some of the diagnostic stuff and diagrams, but there's about 15 pages of diagnostic info and 3 pages of wiring diagrams, many of which don't make much sense without referring to other parts of the manual for pin-outs, etc.

 

Thanks jfpointer, mine flashes on hi and lo on the drivers side. I'll start looking for a short in the wiring harness, but if it is in the seat, then oh well! Any news about the mirror wiring and where the connectors are for it? Thanks again.
