Heated mirrors
I have the heated mirrors on my truck and the drivers side stopped heating. What is involved in replacing the mirror? Just the glass or the whole assembly?

I just had the glass replaced in mine, The mirror surface was scratched pretty bad. The heating element is part of the glass. I would make sure you are getting power to the mirror first though. I paid 47.00 for a new glass installed.

Thanks rickf, I seem to think that it was getting slower and slower to defog the mirror. The other morning it just didn't do a thing. The other side works as always.

I am just getting into the Dodges but I have been a Master mechanic for 40 years. You might want to check the ground for that mirror first. Clean it real well and try again. If it does not work it also didn't cost anything to try. Sorry but I can't tell you where to find the ground point.
