headlite problem

headlite problem

On my 2000 dodge, I can not find out why the right headlite will not shine bright, its very dim, tryed 2 bulbs, I did check for a good ground I think, could it be something else? Pete

This may soud odd at first, but are you sure that the light is in the proper position? I know a good friend who could not get a lot of light out of his passenger side light even after a new bulb. Turned out the previous owner had adjusted the light to shine lower to be in the proper position when he towed heavy and the rear end of the truck was loaded down. Unloaded the light would be shining too low to be real effective. Just a thought.....
