Headlights?

Is there a way to make the low beam lights stay on with the high beams? I can do it by holding the blinker switch back, and you can see a lot farther and better. Just a thought!

yes there is a way to do this.

before you do, you should be warned that some guys have bulbs explode in the housing (i did) and others don't.
also, by doing this you adding a lot more stress on the dash switch - which is weak to begin with and will probably fail sooner than later if you do it.

now you know some potential consequences of the mod.

IMHO the best way to do this is first buy or build a HD relayed headlight harness. this harness will leave the stock passenger side socket empty and then you can put in a one way diode to jump the lows when the highs are on - but not the highs when the lows are on.

do a search including any combination of the following 'HD, relay, relayed, headlight, harness, headlights suck, poor headlights, etc. . .'

i should clarify - this is probably your best option unless you want to do a sport light upgrade . . .

also, if you stick with the setup you have now, there are 80/100 W bulbs available . . .
