Hi guys I am a big first gen guy and I now ended up buying a 97 3500 dually 4x4 12v 5 speed truck cab and chassis set up. Anyway it was a work truck for a explosive company here in B.C Canada. It's rough. With high km around 450 000, we did the main bearings and it looked good for wear not bad at all, So anyway I have a parts truck that is a 96 2500 Ext cab 4x4 12v 5 speed truck and I'm in the process of swapping seats over, I changed the mounts on the bottom so they will work in my single cab but after I did this the seat backs don't stay latched and want to keep folding ahead. Any idea what would be causing this.? I also have a bunch more small issues I will be asking later on.

I haven't seen this on a 2nd gen seat myself, but it sounds like something is busted in the latch mechanism. I've never had cause to look at mine, so I can't really help much.
