Fitting to replace banjo bolt, what size?
I need to replace my LP again. These time I'm installing a Holley Blue and moving the pump to the frame. I need the banjo fitting size so I can replace it with a barbed fitting and rubber hose lines.
Also, does the holley have to have a regulator? |
Take the new lift pump with you (I think it is metric) and the barb should just match the fuel line (be sure it is diesel rated). Some use 3/8" some use 1/2"

The banjo bolt is metric, 12mm. The only place I've seen a 12mm barbed fitting is here, at Vulcan:

The Vulcan kit includes everything, hose, fittings to replace banjo to get better fuel flow all the way to the IP for a little over $100. Every thing to relocate your pump on the frame and have 1/2" line without banjo to your pump.

I just did the Vulcan kit. You could find all the pieces yourself and get it a bit cheaper. For me the convenience of having everything I need show up in a box rather than driving all over looking for what I needed, was well worth the hundy bucks or so.

What i did with my lift pump is took it apart and drilled the inlet and outlet and tapped it to NPT Threads. I also did this to my fuel filter canister to get rid of those banjo bolts.
