Driver Door Lock "intermittently ""SLIPS""
O.K. I researched the old threads and failed to come up with one with this problem.
My driver door lock works electricly both Open and Closed. I can manually work the door lock up and down. I had the side panel off a few days ago and looked in the door but failed to see anything that jumped out at me.
The problem is that it sounds as thou it is "sliping" when the lock/unlock button is used. It is trying to move in the direction, but something has come loose. The lock thingie in the top of the door panel never moves up or down.
I have No service manual. Bummer.
I did however, fix my Torque converter from hunting in 3rd and 4th gear. By.cleaning the battery terminals. Good info here on the forum. Thank you guys for that info.
