Door Shells, Where To Purchase?

Hey everyone,

I had a fello come to me on another forum asking if I knew any good places to purchase door shells for his 98 12 valve. The only places I've really been able to find door shells want $550 a shell Are there any stores/places cheaper than that, maybe on ebay? I too would like to know as well so then I can replace my doors this year too

I don't think you're going to find them too cheap. I see them for about $490 here, http://www.rustrepair.com/repair_pan....htm?r=ru&p=sm

Just punch in the vehicle info and you'll see whats available.

I have seen here for around $300. I bought a bumper from these guys and had no problems with it.

Yeah I bought a rear bumper from them to and was very happy. It says they ship "worldwide" so i'd assume you may have to pay a little more shipping to Canada. Here's a link to both doors they're selling.

Thanks guys!

Would be nice to get new doors on the ol' girl. I'm afraid of shutting the passenger door too hard or else it might fall apart

There is a place called Keystone and a place called Action Crash Parts. If you can find someone that has an account there they are about 250$ and I think they are CAPA certified.

Unless someone has started offering them lately, you cannot buy aftermarket doors for a 98-02 Quad Cab. If you read the print in those adds, the doors only fit regular cab/extended cabs. Mother Mopar is the only source for new quad cab doors and they aren't cheap. I bought a left door from the local dealership at wholesale cost through my bosses account and it cost me right around $750. So you either have to bite the bullet and spend ~$1500 on new door shells or try to find nice, clean used ones somewhere. I didn't get a price on the rear doors but I can't imagine they are a bargain either.

Yeah I saw that in the fine print as well but I didnt see in his sig that it was a Quad Cab. I assumed its a regular cab but maybe not being a 3500, seems a lot of those are Quad Cabs.
