What are the clips that hold the door panels on called? Does anyone know where I can get some of them?

I dont know what they are called

BUt i do know that you can buy them at AutoZone, they are in the same section where you find the E Clips in the HELP! parts section... Just look specifically for dodge door clips, and u should find them..

Don't know why they looked crazy, as thats where I pick them up?? They are simple plastic door fastners that slide in the door panel and then push in the door itself.

I always called them Christmas tree fasteners, lots of stereo shops have them, but dont sell them, I bought them in packs of 5 or 10 for a few bucks each from a Napa store I believe.

Orileys sometimes has moronic help... On the whole I find them to be one of the better (more knowleledgeble help) places to buy parts, but I have found some real idiots in there...

My power door lock motor is giving up the ghost. I went to the dealer, and they want 2.25 for EACH clip.

Go to the auto parts store of your choice, you ought to be able to get a package (6?) for like $1.99

Trim panel retainers. They are available in the aftermarket by companies like Papco and Geno. There are a million different styles but if you take in a sample to a decent partsman, he should be able to match them up.

I looked at a couple of places here to get them, but couldn't find the same ones. The Dodge ones hold on for deer life, in fact they are a pain to get off but yea they are stupid expensive. I found some that are close enough that the door panels stay on and it didn't cost me 50 bucks to do it. I have just called the christmas tree clips as well. Just my .02
