Did they make a 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 SRW?

My old 96 was the camper special. Had an extra set of overloads on top (with spacer) from the stock springs, Also came with a Dana 80 (thats what the tag said). Not licensed as a 3500 but basically the same rear end and springs as a DRW.

Apparently there is a 6500 in Mexico with the same badges. Probably same as your 5500.

I made my 5500 by cutting the 5 out of a 2500 badge and the 3 out of mine.

The point? Humorous to screw with Ford owners originally. However, the ones who really bought my tale of a limited edition 97 were Dodge salesmen and most notably the Dodge mech who did the recall on the throttle rod ends.

Um, I believe the ? was a 'factory' offered SRW 3500. There are all kinds of hybrids and rebadged trucks out here.

I'm big and tough enough to drive a widdle 2500 and be ok with my shortcomings as a man though!

Nope. All 3500s were duallys. But the 2500s had overload springs, which they dont now. If you want overloads from the factory, gotta get a 3500

ISpeed, didn't mean to step on on your question. It seemed that others were posting answers and surmises that didn't relate to the original thread question of "factory produced SRW 3500's". I ran F-350's before converting to Dodge and my Dodge 2500 rates as high as my old 1-ton Fords did.

Kurt

PS Ed's got a real nice rig BTW! Diggit!

They sure did make SRW 3500 2nd Gen (at least they did in '99)
A co-worker of mine bought one brand new shiny red one.

I also remember watching the movie, "Twister". If I am correct, the guy in the movie has a srw 3500 unless they rebadged it for the movie. I am not sure of the year on the truck, but I believe it is a 99'
