Cheap, I doubt it. You can find a replacement bezel easy enough for around $100 last I looked, but for the dash it's a different story unless you want a hard dash cover. There is a place now selling replacement dashes made out of ABS plastic for the 98-02 trucks, but the price is pretty steep at a little over $300...

Check out Ebay there are lots of ram parts from the "Cash for Clunkers" program. Pick and Pull contracted to get 30,000 cars. Clunkers cars ended up in junk yards to be parted out they are not getting crushed until after they are stripped of good parts. They just cant sell the engines. I have seen several 98 and later Rams and many more 97 and earlier rams. There are also 2 people that sell new Ram dashes, one is a repop the other is OEM Dodge.

I work for a used truck and equipment dealer. We use http://www.coverlaymfg.com/ for dash overlays and bezel overlays. cost about 270 for dash and bezel. I put about 2-4 per week on dodge trucks.

The problem with a cover or 'overlay' is that when the structure under it is crumbling, it's like putting a new coat of paint on a condemed house.

The replacement dash is the ONLY repair that will last more than a few months.

The coverlays we use are rigid enough to support themselves with just the edges of the original dash to glue to. I've put them in trucks where the original dash had to be removed with a shop vac. Several trucks have been traded in or repoed with 2-3 year old overlays with no cracks or delams. The above company noted in post 6 also gives a limited lifetime replacement offer. Been using them on Dodges for a couple of years now and never had one come back because of the dash.

I believe they are a great alternative to the full dash replacement.
