Coil Springs ??

I'm installing a custom HD Fisher plow on my 95' 2500...I have not lifted the blade yet to find out how much the front is going to drop but I am pretty sure I am going to need new coils. I need to lift the front 2.5 inches so I want to ask the people who have lift kits installed or leveling springs What they have and are they stiffer? I need super HD springs....Help !! Thanks !!

when the plow is lifted, probably only drops an inch or so
but the springs lift about 2-3"

I'm running 048 on the driver's side and 047 on the passenger side. Those are for a cab chassis truck. Look at your coil springs there's a paper tag with a number on it. It's probably 037 and 038, they are weak. Then look at Dave Fritz site and it will give you the spring rating.

The plowsite.com article helps it make sense.

My truck sits level and rides a lot better, it has a ton truck feel

Are those C&C springs the best Dodge has? Are they on all of the C&C trucks. I have a 97 2wd with a solid front axle that I am getting ready to turn into a 4x4 and was wondering which springs to use.

SORRY FOR THE HIJACK

I started the swap tonight and the springs that were in the 98 3/4 ton were thicker than the ones in my 97 1 ton. I put them in and the truck rides about 2" higher than before.

That's what I used 048/047 and it rides and handles soooooo much better and sits level. The factory springs were too soft, squishy, and bottomed out.

Besides, I plan on installing a ranchhand front bumper later
