So I've seen a few threads on this topic, and I found some great cablites I'll tell you about. I was wandering through my local hardly great store, and saw a set of universal cablites with wiring and all for $10!! I figured it was too good too pass up. So I bought them, took them home and put them on. When I pulled down my headliner too run wires, I discovered that there are the factory holes already there for factory installed lights. Made it way easy! The lights are self grounding, so all I had to do was run a power wire too all of them and that was it. Mounting was cake. I've put about 2500 miles on the truck since I got them and havn't had any problems with them leaking or crapping out on me. I'm really happy with them. I don't have any pics. when I get home next week from work I'll take a few and get them posted. Just thought I'd share my discovery with everyone.

when i put my pricey recon's on the only thing I added incase of water was a rubber flat washer under the screw head. you would think that a name like Recon and $$ for it. this would have came with.

 

Yeah, I read a lot of posts about those recons. Didn't see many favorable words written about them, that's why I held off on getting them. I think the kit I got is pretty similar to the ones sold in LMC truck.
