change kilometers to miles

anybody know how to do this in an 01, its really getting to be a pain!u need to explain it where ever u go for anything! thanks

Multiply your kilometeres by .621. This will give you your miles gone. 5 Km`s = 3.1 miles. Far as reprogramming goes on your comp. I have no idea
