I'm trying to install a turbo temp monitor but I cant find the ignition wire under the dash. I can find wires that are hot with key and cold without but that could be a lot of things that turn on with the key. Dont want to end up wiring the stereo to turn off when the EGT's reach 300*! If anyone knows how or has a wiring diagram could you please let me know what color wire I am looking for? Thanks a lot!

 

Try # 5 on the fuse block

 

I think that it is the mid-blue #14 wire at the base of the steering column.<br>george

 

In the bundle under the steering column, look for a med blue wire with a white tracer.

 

OK, I have a few diiferent answers. #5 fuse??? (I dont get that one), Dark blue wire?, Baby blue wire, Blue wire with white stripe? Big blue wire? I take it that someone is guessing. ??? Is there a way to find out for sure? Thanks for any help.

 

One things for sure. The wire you are looking for is definately blue and is definately under the dash.

The ignition wire is at the base of the steering column. For the years '94-97, it is the mid-blue #12 (sorry, not 14) wire.

On you 01, it is probably the white tracer. Check the PacBrake installation instruction page.
