No Headlights With The Truck Running
Coming home from dinner tonight just getting dark down a long desert highway, noticed I had no headlights (low, or high). When we got home I shut the truck down and turned the switch on and I had lights. Could it be the ignition cylinder when in the on position? Oh the fog lights were working. Thanks guys!

OK that looks like the ignition switch. Sometimes the "finger" that deactivaes unnecessary things while starting gets worn away.
Maybe you can find that if you wiggle the key in the "on" position that you have some flickers of light. That would pinpoint it. (Check in the dark..)
Do also check for burnt wires close to the switch.
In case you have daytime running lights: The DTRL module can cause similar problems..

Sorry to waste your time AlpineRam, but this morning it hit me before I walked out to the truck what the problem was. Two weeks ago I had the truck in a local shop getting the evaporator changed out and when they where dropping the steering column and pulling the dash he hit my plow/truck toggle light switch! I should have figured that out immediately on the road when I had no lights! Thanks anyway!
