blowin' smoke??
had to have the power lock switches replaced under warranty--TSB 08-041-00--power locks became "possessed". when the service manager wrote up the ticket, he saw my gauges and Black Mountain Diesel window sticker. he started in on me about engine mods--said that they had recently received a letter from DC and hinted at a reward from DC for detecting engine mods. i simply told him that gauges and stickers don't hurt engines, and that nothing had been done to my engine that would do any harm (it's true--that's my story, and i'm sticking to it). <br>anybody else heard this, or is he just blowin' smoke??? the reward part?

He is and he isn't. He is cause gauges don't void warranty (had a dealer try that one on me), but he isn't cause the regional manager told me the same thing. Read my post STEALERS in the other forum to see what I have been going through with mine and to see what the regional manager said.

It seems to me that if I was in your guys shoes I would find another dealer.If they are going to act like $%#* then do business with another dealer. I am sure there is a dealer somewhere near that really wants your business. -Anthony
