Big Brake update
I think it only works on the four wheel drives. Check the back of your spindle assembly and tell me if the caliper bracket is bolted on or part of the assembly?
If it bolts on you might be able to do this upgrade.

Update:
I got my 19.5s on the truck and have ordered the brake parts from Beaverton Dodge (Mopar Parts America-the advertise on this site)
The brackets were about 37.00 each + shipping and I also ordered the larger dust shields and may have to redrill them to fit. about 18.00 each + shipping.
I went to Auto Zone and purchased two new rotors for about 120.00 and will be picking up the pads for about 50.00 bucks. I plan on disassembling the calipers and making sure they are in good working order before putting the bigger brakes on.
In looking them up on the web site I found out that the brackets are listed as the same part number for the 2 wheel drive trucks. this means that the big brake upgrade will work on the 2 wheel drive trucks the part numbers are:
#5093268 AA
#5093270 AA
I hope this helps and I'll be giving a report on the braking performance improvement.

I'd sure like to take advantage of this.
Finally got my big brakes on the truck. You do notice the difference when stopping. Will be towing a 7000 lb trailer tomorrow and will let you know if it helps.
This will also work on the two wheel drives.
I could not install the knew larger dust shields unless I pulled the hub apart, will have to wait until I need bearings.
Total cost (figuring I needed new brakes) about 100.00.

If the truck your talking about is an early 98, put the pics up and I'll compare them to mine. I could also send you my old brackets, and if they fit, then the new ones will.
