Bet ya can't solve this one...

Truck in sig. I just replaced the tie rods, track arm and whatever else has a linkage under there involved with the steering. Got a steering bushing too.
Here is the mystery: when it rains- and it only takes a little water on the road, my front end/drivers side will have a very pronounced clunk when turning the wheel either direction. Now I had thought it was all of the replaced above, but I guess not. The ball joints were checked by two shops and pronounced sound.
Any suggestions? The steering shaft is lubed. I did that myself. Whatever it is gets wet very easily/soon so must be low. It starts binding right away.
Thanks
Big Jimmy
I should add that the turn must be of at least 22.5*.
Ya know, half of a half of a corner? ;0)

I had That problem on a new 99 long ago and nobody could find it---but finally somebody did---The bolts that hold the steering stabilizer (shock)on were put on wrong and hitting the other bar--they loosened the bolts and turned it a little and woola it was gone.
Jack it up, spray it with a hose and look/listen for the sound? If that doesnt work, do the same with it on the ground. If that doesnt work, strap youself underneath the truck and have someone drive down the road in the rain.
Kidding of course
