Anyone done it? Seems like it wouldnt be that hard to attach a light to the outside of the mirror if you could find one that matched the contour. Thoughts? Thanks.

I attached amber LEDs to both mirrors I'm only using them as parking lites rite now eventually i'll add a relay to turn them into turn signals. I got mine at the local big rig store they hade many styles. Hardest part was running the wires.

I "sortof" did what you are talking about, but put them on the fender like the newer vehicles have. I couldn't find a light that had a contour or would look decent on the mirrors. And with towing, you have to take into account when it is down AND up for towing.

I went with LEDs so I just wired them directly off the wire going to the front headlight blinker. The amp draw is so minimal, no need for a relay. Have had no problems now in about a year.

I did NOT wire them up as parking lights, just blinkers. So they are off 95% of the time.
