3rd gen power tow mirrors on 2nd gen
 

anyone got the TDR link on how to do the conversion? anyone here done it? does the heat work too?

sweet thats just what i was looking for...do you use the glass from the 3rd gen mirrors then? my p-side it cracked and neither side really wants to adjust anyway, which is the reason i was goin to do the swap

The conversion requires 2nd generation trailer mirrors for the door mounting bases.
And 3rd generation trailer mirrors for the power/heated mirrors.

if you're going to upgrade, i would get the CIPA'S. I don't really care for the factory towing mirrors.
