Nice Truck. Mine listed new for $37000 and I paid $28500. Yours has some nice additions but based on the additions you no longer have a viable 5 year 100K miles engine warranty. I would say to the right guy that likes the mod's you could get $28000. With most buyers you could get $27000. I would price it at $29500 for some dicker room. Good luck.

Why would the warranty be void?

Piercing the pump wire for the comp. It wont void the whole truck warranty, just the pump warranty.

No they can void warranty coverage on anything increased power could effect. i.e Transmission, piston failure. Now you can get a lawyer and sue but it will cost you more money than most of us have in our trucks and you won't win. Now if you increase HP and the radio fails then that would not be related and you would be covered. Now don't flame me I don't make the rules, just stating what has happened to others. Like all of the articles in the TDR state that when you increase power you are your own warranty station. A knowledgable buy will know this. Others could find out later when they might have a warranty claim. If I modified my truck and then sold it while it was still under factory warranty I would make sure my bill of sale stated that any warranty coverage was not my responibility and was between the purchaser and DC. Warranty?

Sorry folks, I always say...you wanna play, be prepared to pay.
Some dealers will 'restrict' a warranty and some will work with you. However, they will always get charged back for the pierced wire on the injector pump.
If you know what your getting into...then you should know how to deal with this.
For me, I would be piercing the wire anyway but thats just me and my choice with the truck I own.
I would also be up front about it to the next buyer like what is happening here.

Re:2002 w/ 3K miles what is a fair asking price?????????

Up here in the remote tundra of the Upper Peninsula our dealers are very good to us and most of them have no idea what bombing or mods to look for. Mine went into the shop for checkup and to get it ready for storage and the service manager asked me what the box was. He replied thats neat! Of course a good relationship with your dealership is key. "shop" around for the right dealer cuz u will find one that will work with you. Guages wont void any warranty. If the dealer tried voiding your warranty for guages i would walk out on him. To the question above im looking at selling it becuase the new GTO coming out looks like it is calling my name.

Not to disagree with you , but the dealer offered me more than 25k on a trade in. Also i dont think a comp box with all gauges and a dtt tranny upgrade seriously limit this trucks ability to tow or do whatever you want with it. If i wanted to sell it for 25 it would be sold before i even put a for sale sign on it. Thanks for your input though.
