Few issues,

I keep blowing the fuse for the back up lights, i disconnected the multi switch and checked connections all looked good. I pulled off the tail lights and check bulbs, and changed them. Still blowing fuses, i tried a bigger fuse and blew that as well. I tried pulling the trailer relay but nothing changed. Other problem is that the wipers don't go back to home position. Kind of lost here does any body have any suggestions

Wiper not returning is wiper relay board &/or wiper motor. I'm going to change the whole thing as a unit & use the warranty. Board alone is cheaper but it will likely burn out again the next time wipers get stuck by ice.

Blowing fuses is a short to ground. Disconnect circuit loads & test for ground. Google turns up much info. 01 FSM is available for free download & may approximate the 02 headlight circuit.

I have traced all wires and came up with nothing, at one point it took a few days to blow the fuse, know it blows as soon as i turn on the key. The only thing that i can think of that changed was i took out the light switch and unplugged and re plugged back in, Could it be this switch????? I have heard that the trailer package could effect the back up lights, Wipers still not returning to home position should i just change the motor or try replacing relays.

General short finding has been discussed a lot. Easiest thing is to google parasitic drain. Lots of step by step instructions. You'll want a diagram.

Wipers and back ups are not connected in any way. There is a write up re Wiper motor rebuild on this site. Try searching it.

Back ups are ground switched. THey are hot wired and the switch completes the circuit by providing a ground. Is the fuse blowing upon insertion or when you go into reverse?

when the key is off it is fine, as soon as there is power the fuse blows. As stated above, when i first discovered this the fuse would not blow right away now it does

If a circuit blows a fuse, you have a short, excessive load or an undersized fuse. Connect an ammeter and disconnect loads until you fine what is pulling the amps. Be sure your ammeter is fuse protected. The process & concept are easy. Finding the cause may be a pita. On Datsun Zs, it is frequently the bulb socket that is grounding. How did you test? What else is on the circuit? A wiring diagram will be useful. Good luck.
