Im sure some of yall know where im coming from. I got a rip on my driver seat cushion that is just getting bigger and bigger. I don’t want to cover it up, but i want to replace it with a stock cushion cover if i can get one. I've done them before when i worked for Nissan...but don’t know if the aftermarket has stepped up on this one yet or not. Any suggestions welcome......

I haven't been able to find an aftermarket supplier yet, still looking. I have the rip in my seat sewn up for now, doesn't look very nice, but it's not getting worse. And I can't justify the cost for the factory covers, they want a mint for them!

John hooked me up at a place in Waco that repaired mine and his seats with factory matched material. I don't recall the name of the place, but if you PM me I'll give you John's contact info. He is a full timing RVer now.

Dodge Dealer Dave Smith in Kellogg Idaho sells a ton of Dodge Rams and has a few shops along I-90 that add accessories, do body work, upholstery etc. On one of many trips thru Kellog I remember seeing a movers cart stacked 6 feet high with cloth seat covers from trucks being turned into leather seats. I've heard that if you wanted a specific set up and he had the truck with everything but the leather seating he would replace the cloth with leather. Try contacting the dealership and see if they keep any of these take offs. Good luck.
