1996 seat switch
Anyone know where a person could get a replacement power seat switch for a 1996 d350? New or used. The dealer wants 125.00 for one which I think is a little high priced. Thanks for any leads.

This is on my "to do list". I don't know if the switch on a 96 is similar to an 01. I have taken apart the switch on mine several times. The contacts are to small and wearing out.
I will use a momentary rocker switch with double pole on-off-on. The positive and negative power is reversed to make the motors run opposite directions. The power will come in on the center leads and the power out on one of the leads. I will criss cross the wires from the other leads and splice them in so the right from one goes to the left on the other and opposite for other side.
Hope this helps.

Try www.moparpartz.com. I found some 1996 seat switches that were less than what the dealer. It is the same one it is only $80 here.
