05 polished aluminium rims

I picked up a set of polished aluminium rims off of an 05 last night. I have been searching for exactly what I need to grind to get these to fit but cant find anything apart from threads about the center cap. Is there any grinding that needs done on the rim to make these fit or are they a simple polt up?

Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick,

I have 3rd gen alloys with BFG 285s on my 1997. I used the 3rd gen caps. No changes required. They bolted right up.

Prior to this, I had been running 2001 alloys. This required some material to be removed on the rear brake drums.

I have similar rims and the similar problem, they do not bolt right up like some people say, there was two different types of rims I think, one that fits and one that doesn't

I made that thread regarding this, on the 2nd page or so there is a good solution, hope it helps.
