can someone tell me where the amp for the radio is? do you know if there is a fise or circuit breaker on it? lost all sound to speakers but works when other speakers are hooked up.

 

I thought from the title it was a 2,000 pound amp. Just curious where you would put it. Heh, heh, heh... Seriously, I believe the front speakers have individual amps on the speakers themselves....

 

i dont know if it has separate amps or not. i lost all sound and i have output from the radio.i am thinking there may be a fuse or circuit breaker on the amp. but i dont know where it is located. it has to be under the dash i would think. any clues???

 

As SheriffAV8R stated, the amps are mounted on the front speakers. Also, those speakers are 2 ohms impedance.

 

Have a similar issue in that my A pillar tweeters don't work, so currently reading troubleshooting procedures in the service manual. Do you have the standard speakers or the Infinity system?
