01 3/4 tn SLT high and low beams at same time

Hi,
I have noticed that when I am switching from low to high beam there is a short time when both are on. Can I change the wiring to make both stay on when the highs are on? Would this be damaging to the bulb. I have the one bulb system.
Thanks,

Yes, you can do it. Let me ask you to think about the amount of heat you will generate with both filaments on at once. That is high beam (60 watts) and low beam (55 watts) within one capsule (115 watts total).

Seems like I have read about members melting something important when they make this modification.

It wont melt anything with stock bulbs. Search for a 9004 high/low harness. Look for the "let there be light" thread for lots of headlight updrade options.
