Although this breaks my heart, I am selling my 1999 RAM 2500 Cummins 24V turbo diesel. I am currently under trucked and over trailered with our new to us RV. Any and all mods done to the truck were strictly for the purposes of enhancing or monitoring it's towing safety and stability. I am a seriously older guy and my hot rodding days are long behind me! I need to look at one ton trucks now. Here are some of the details on my RAM:
Truck is located in Alberta, Canada
300,000kms on a 5.9l/360CID 24V Cummins turbo diesel;
PS, PB, P drivers seat, Htd mirrors, tilt, cruise, air;
Comes with a remote starter and two fobs for start and lock/unlock;
Aftermarket 4” MBRP turbo back exhaust helps keep the EGT's lower when towing;
2WD SLE Lariat;
47RE automatic transmission fully rebuilt in 2015 by EXCELL Transmissions in Red Deer, AB at a cost of $4,000.00 w/ HD torque converter, HD clutch disks, shift kit designed for RV towing;
Extra capacity, finned aluminum Transmission oil pan by BD Diesel;
Dodge Steering Stabilizer by BD Diesel;
8,800lb GVW with the factory camper package, xtra heavy rear springs, HD cooling etc.;
3:55 rear end ratio with anti-spin;
New ball joints, pitman arm and other steering gear in 2016;
Rear axle seals were just done in October 2016;
Basic Pioneer aftermarket head unit and speakers replaced the OEM radio as CD player stopped working;
New windshield last year, has a couple of minor chips in it now;
Firestone air bags with manual fill/empty Schrader valves, also have a pair of Timbrens for the truck if you are interested. Gabriel coil over shocks in the rear and Munroe shocks up front;
The interior is clean for it's years and there are no rips or tears in the seats. I'm not sure if the rear bench has ever even been sat on;
I have detailed maintenance records going back seven years or so since I bought the truck;
The body is in good shape except for the box which has a few dents and dings. The tailgate is an RV fifth wheel flow through style and the OEM tailgate is MIA. The box and bed rails were professionally done by Arma Thane;
Goodyear Duratrac tires on OEM wheels with the chrome inlay;
Edge Juice engine controller used only for monitoring vital engine parameters and level 2 power (Tow Setting) when towing.
I am asking $10,000.00 for the truck and I will consider reasonable offers. If you have a one ton truck that you would like to discuss with me, that would be okay as well. I definitely cannot consider any one ton that has been hot rodded, lifted or put on steroids – just not into that kind of stuff.
