IMO that was an outstanding day...

A huge thanks to DieselDave and Jamie for making it happen & hosting.
It was great seeing everyone & I always learn a ton at these events...

Here are the results... I always take a picture of the results right before I leave.
The twin turbo Duramax with N20 ended up a little higher until they cooked the trans.

For the record my weatherstation recorded a temp of 12C & an effective altitude of 2800 ft ASL.
The dyno on the trailer was a Dynojet 224C & it did have loading capability.

I think that the duramax was the only truck that used spray. Sure seemed to need a different roller load level than the fuel only trucks. I think that they even spinned abit on the rollers some.

Was he using the eddy brake? If not the results will be skewed as they are only the 24 inch rollers. Even Dynojet dosent suggest the 24" rollers for high hp diesel trucks. Not enough resistance

ahhh,, thought so.. they dynojet is a very good dyno if it is used properly.. too bad he dosent have a 48, but that makes the trailers a bit unweildy

my chart started at 2500 rpm and at that point my HP was pretty close to my peak, and my torque was coming down from a higher number, which wasn't recorded.

i came out pretty close to where i thought i would be. i think he finally was starting to get the dyno working proper towards the middle/rear of the pack. it would be nice if he could get dialed in properly and then re-use him in the future so we can compare apples to apples, instead of using a different dyno everytime.

Ya it was a good time. It was good putting faces to the user names finally. I better start getting out more often. Next time thou I'm not gonna worry about what my tow tune will put out. That 456hp was on my tow tune as my bd locked up and would not go it to scarry larry for me. Oh well at least I know what it is as a daily driver. Next time thou it's staying in scarry mode no matter what!

I know I know. Just wanted to see what scarry would do since the seat of the pants feeling is pretty good. I guess it's penny pinching time.

The weather sucked all summer, but the only time I seen some of the northern guys was at the black out, save for the odd time I went for supper when I was up there working. You think we would have had a GTG every other week.
