Changed my fuel filter for the first time since I've owned the truck. Here's what it looked like...<br><br>

If that's the 1st time since '99, keep buying fuel where you have been. You ain't doin' too bad ;)
Mine usually looks like that and I change mine every 2nd oil change. Ed |

How many miles is "every other oil change" for you? I plan on doing the fuel filter every 10K.[/quote] About 12,000 miles on a fuel filter. But I usually only buy fuel at high volume stations. (If Big Rigs fuel up there, I will too) |

When I would change my PSD filter, it would be black. Now my CTD filter is a light grey color when I change it. I fuel at the same place. I'm using Power Service in the CTD, I never noticed any difference with the PSD, so I didn't use it. Is the difference the Power Service, where did the black stuff go? [eyecrazy] Maybe they are just two different animals?
